If you’ve been following along since my first post, you already know what SmartBulk is and why I built it. If you’re new here — short version: it’s a free, Salesforce-native bulk utility for admins who are tired of reaching for external tools just to update or clean up records.
Back when I wrote that first post, SmartBulk was sitting in AppExchange review. I didn’t know exactly how long it would take. Turns out — it takes a while. There’s a proper security review process, documentation requirements, back and forth. It’s thorough, which is a good thing, but it’s not fast.
That wait is over.

✅ SmartBulk is officially reviewed, approved, and live on the Salesforce AppExchange.
What SmartBulk does
SmartBulk gives you three core operations — all from a single page inside Salesforce.
Bulk View
Load up any configured object and see all your records in a clean table. Each row has a direct View link so you can jump to any record without losing your place. Good for audits, reviews, and just getting eyes on your data quickly.

Bulk Update
Select the records you want to change, fill in the fields you want to update, and hit Update. The button stays inactive until you’ve actually selected records and entered a value — so there’s no accidental mass update.

Bulk Delete
Same idea — select the records, and the Delete button activates only when you’ve checked something. No records selected, no red button. It’s a small thing but it matters when you’re working with real data.

Everything runs inside Salesforce, under the logged-in user’s own access level. No elevated permissions, no backdoors — just your normal user context doing what it’s allowed to do.
Still built for “native-first” admins
Nothing has changed here. SmartBulk is still:
✅ No Tooling API
✅ No Salesforce Inspector
✅ No browser extensions
✅ No external services or integrations
✅ No data stored outside Salesforce
If your org has a policy against external tooling — or you just personally prefer keeping things inside the platform — this was built with that in mind.
Who should use it?
Same answer as before, but now you can actually install it:
- Salesforce Admins
- Release / DevOps teams
- Teams doing ongoing data hygiene
- Orgs that prefer secure, compliant, platform-native solutions
Get it here
SmartBulk is free to install. No trial period, no paid tier, no strings.
If you try it out, I’d genuinely appreciate a review on AppExchange — it helps other admins find it. And if you have feedback or run into anything unexpected, drop a comment or reach out directly.
More updates coming as the app grows..
